Yuliang Tu

Tu Yuliang is a lecturer in the Piano Faculty, Xinghai Conservatory of Music, and the Kayserburg Artist.

He studied piano with professor Xiong Daoer, professor Galyna Popova, professor Dan Zhaoyi and professor Li Jinxing, and received both his Bachelor and Master Degrees in Piano Performance from Xinghai Conservatory of Music, one of the most prestigious conservatories of music in China.

Tu Yuliang has received many prizes in piano performance including the fifth prize in Gina Bachauer Piano Competition in 1999, twice scholarships to Aspen Music Festival and School.

As a performer, Tu Yuliang maintains a very active schedule. He gives about 10 concerts yearly, performing in Xinghai Music Hall, one of the best music halls in China, as well as in many local venues within and outside Guangdong province, China. He shared stage with internationally well-known pianists such as Lang Lang and Liu Shikun.

Tu Yuliang’s performance is natural, subtle, and heart-touching.

As a Kayserburg artist Tu Yuliang judges piano competitions, gives performances and lectures, promoting music and piano art all around China.
