Our “Little Mozart”

A Superb Roster of New Faculty

We have the pleasure of introducing a superb roster of new faculty for 2018. Gabriel Tacchino, Alex Brazinsky, Andreas Frolich, Ervis Gega, Solomia Sokora, Yingdi Sun, Vadim Lando, Irina Akrin, Sandra Shapiro, Klaidi Sahatchi, Jura Margulis, Mari Takeda, Alexander Ludin, Iris Gorin, Farida Nurizade, Corey Hamm. Each of them is a leader in their field and the entire staff and present faculty is welcoming them and wishing them an exciting music summer. We are doing the Opera Cosy Fan Tutte and our vocal faculty includes Eva Mei, Jennifer Larmore, Bruno Pratico, Giulio Boschetti, Massimiliano Silvestri, Giovanna Canetti, and others. Brilliant prodigies make waves in piano world!

Two of our brilliant prodigies that grew up with MusicFest Perugia are making waves in the piano world! Nathan Lee, winner of the 2017 Young concert artist audition will appear in his debut recital at Carnegie Hall/Zankel on October 24th. Maxim Lando, a Lang Lang favorite who has played with him all over the world and garnered gold medals in Moscow and Berlin competitions will participate in the opening concert at Carnegie Hall along with Lang Lang, Chick Corea and the Philadelphia orchestra October 4th. MusicFest Perugia will be open for registration along with its new satellite in Diamante-Calabria from December 1st, 2017.

Min Kwon and Pavlina Dokovska join MFP Faculty!

Music Fest Perugia is fortunate to welcome two leading pianist ladies from the East-Coast. Pavlina Dokovska the Chair of Piano at Mannes School of Music is joining our festival in the first session. Recognised pianist pedagogue with a strong national and international career she will bridge Perugia to New York in an important fashion.   Min Kwon is currently a Full Professor and Chair of Keyboard Studies at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and a prolific pianist locally, nationally and internationally. Travelled to 60 countries, and gave master classes in over twenty countries. She will bring to Music Fest Perugia an excellent group of pianists in the tradition created by Ilana Vered who was a visiting professor at the same institution. The staff and faculty are welcoming them!

Gabriel Tacchino Joins MFP Faculty

Music Fest Perugia is happy and excited to announce that Gabriel Tacchino, one of the leading French pianist-pedagogues will join us this coming summer. Maestro Tacchino has explored the entire gamut of classical repertory but he is best remembered for being the chosen student of Francis Poulenc. Students interested in French repertoire will have an exceptional opportunity to work with one of its leading exponent.
